Thought I have been in IT for quite a number of years, I completed my Cybersecurity training in June of this year after my consultation with Mr Omolere. The training really gave me much exposure and confidence in Cyber Security especially in the areas of Vulnerability Testing, Governance, ISO 27001/2 and Disaster Recovery to mention a few. I later went to do my CC exam and passed. I also landed a Network Security Architecture role with a Bank leading a major network segmentation project to enable them gain PCI-DSS compliance.

I have since recommended a number of candidates to Smartlearning as I believe they offer extraordinary value when it comes to IT Training. I am indeed grateful to you mr Wale and the entire team for your relentless efforts in making people’s career progression a reality.

When I did my GRC course with Wale back in 2017 (pre-covid and face-to-face class structure), I got a Risk Analyst role straight after the course. I also kept in touch and remain in Smartlearning alumni group. I found myself in between contract this year and decided to retrain in Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management Domain, I did self learning and also online with an Indian guy. I called Wale that I needed support and he referred me to another alumnus.. Nicholas Eworh, who became my go to IAM mentor, any interview I had I’ll call Nick and we’ll digest the job spec.

To God be all glory… In 2023, I secured a role with Visa Europe as a Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management Consultant. I am starting in the new year by God’s grace, and I am also looking forward to collaborating with another big brain Smartlearning Alumnus…Tunde Shogaolu who also works with Visa.
