The Parenting Struggle: Why Traditional Discipline Falls Short

You love your child, but you're tired of the yelling, the power struggles, and feeling like a broken record. Every day is a battle to get cooperation. The truth is, discipline focused on stopping bad behavior often overlooks the incredible good that is already there. It drains your energy and damages your connection. There is a better way.

Introducing: Nurtured Heart & Torah Parenting

This isn't just another parenting class. It's a powerful, faith-based framework—a brilliant blend of the clinically proven Nurtured Heart Approach® and the timeless teachings of Gedolei Yisrael including R' Hirsch, R' Wolbe, and R' Hoffman z”tl. Program Overview

Nurtured Heart & Torah Parenting

Transform your home through a comprehensive parenting program that begins with 9 practical sessions blending the Nurtured Heart Approach® with the wisdom of R’ Samson Raphael Hirsch זצ"ל, R’ Shlomo Hoffman זצ"ל, and R’ Shlomo Wolbe זצ"ל. This structured experience equips you with tools to build connection, foster greatness, and respond to challenging behavior with calm, clarity, and confidence.

Each session includes instruction, slides, video demonstrations, guided notes, and live Q&A. Weekly homework and an interactive Google support group help you integrate the tools into daily life. After the core series, monthly live group Q&A sessions are included—providing continued guidance and support to help solidify lasting change. All classes are recorded (audio + video), and most parents notice positive shifts within weeks.

You’ll learn to:

  • Understand and guide each child according to their unique nature

  • Recognize and grow your child’s strengths—even when hidden

  • Break negative cycles and manage your own reactions

  • Create clarity and consistency without anger or pressure

  • Build self-esteem, cooperation, and lasting parent–child connection

`

Series Begins: Wednesday, December 31st via Zoom (11:30 am -1 pm Israel)

OUR CORE PRINCIPLES

Chinuch is more than rules, techniques, or managing day-to-day behavior.

It begins with a mindset — a way of seeing our children with clarity, intention, and a genuine understanding of who they are.

Today, few people realize that chinuch of children is an art that requires study and attentiveness.”
— R’ Shlomo Wolbe

Each child has a unique Derech. What works for one may not work for another.

Our role is to observe carefully, understand their nature, and guide them according to the path that fits them.

“Carefully study the spiritual make-up of the children Hashem gives you… this is the only way to direct each one on the path unique to him.”

— R’ Samson Raphael Hirsch

Effective discipline doesn’t come from pressure or harsh reactions.

Children flourish when we respond with confidence, calm, and positivity, even when their behavior pushes our limits.

“The more the parents are confident and avoid anger and hostility, the more the children will obey.”
— R’ Shlomo Hoffman

Growing a child’s greatness doesn’t start with correcting them.

It starts with seeing their incredible potential — and helping them see it too.

“Believing in the child is the strongest force that advances a child… staying calm and encouraging will resolve the blocks.”
— R’ Shlomo Hoffman

I love learning the Gedolim’s attitudes toward chinuch and seeing how this approach is actually based in Torah and Yiddishkeit! I really like the improvement I feel I’m making!

Frequently Asked Questions

The course is 9 weeks long and is structured to help busy mothers create a transformation in their homes week by week, with homework and Google group support to keep you on track!

As part of your package, you’ll be invited to live monthly group Q&A sessions through the end of 2026. These calls give you ongoing support, a place to ask real-life questions, and guidance to help you strengthen what you’ve learned and continue seeing positive shifts in your home.

Yes! This approach was made for you! Because there is so much confusion on how to handle children before and after their diagnosis, the NHA is the approach that will build, not break your child. It is used in schools for children diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders with amazing results. As it is completely in line with Torah Hashkafa, we learn that ALL children really need this type of Chinuch.

Simply- yes. It is always best for both parents to learn to implement a parenting approach together. However, if only one implements it, especially the mother, it will definitely create major shifts in the mother-child dynamic and the overall atmosphere at home. Most commonly, the father is intrigued by the positive changes, and starts to learn the approach as well.

The principles are universally applicable from toddlers to teens ( 18 months until 18 years old+). We will learn how to implement the approach on ourselves as well, so we can grow our own greatness too!

Approximately twice a year. The next one will IY"H be after Pesach.

I had quite a few participants who took the course solely through recordings and experienced tremendous shifts and transformations in their homes!

While the classroom is only for mothers, fathers are encouraged to listen to them as well. I prefer to provide you with a slides-only version for this purpose. Coaching sessions are open to both parents.

All registered participants will receive personal access to Zoom video recordings, as well as audio recordings on the phone line.

This cohort will have access to the recordings until Shavuos. The Nurtured Heart Institute limits access to the recordings. Participants will benefit from the monthly Q&A group sessions, as well as a 50% discount for alumni who wish to take the class again.

The class doesn't require a book, though I do sell one to my participants as a supplement. Quite a few mothers who first read an NHA book chose to join the course or get private coaching to achieve more clarity on how the Approach is implemented in their homes.

R' Eliyahu M. Klugman shlita reviewed the course material in depth and endorses the class.

Real People. Real Results

I'm embarassed to say that before this course, I didn't know how to manage my children without hitting, yelling, punishing and threatening. I feel so happy to be learning tools that are creating a warm environment and are actually working! I didn't realize how simple this could be! My daughter's teachers tell me what a change they are noticing at school!

I must say that I year later I am still going strong. People look at me like I know what I'm doing. I feel like I can help others. I don't panic when my son is falling apart at the park. I am so happy because I know how to teach my little kids the middos I want to teach them.

NR, Ezras Torah

My home is a much more positive environment. I feel calmer. My children are becoming more independent. My children are more respectful and more caring to each other.

SL, Lakewood

My daughter used to be my most complex child; now she tells me when she needs to reset before the explosions. A miracle!
