A coaching journey to move from quiet overstretch to more energy, ease and sustainable balance in work and life.

About me
Hey there! I’m Annabelle, a neuroscientist and certified professional coach. I'm trained at the PCC level in an ICF-accredited program and currently working toward my Professional Coaching Certification (PCC). As a highly sensitive introvert, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed, stuck, or running on empty—especially in today's fast-paced world. My own journey from low self-esteem and feeling lost to living with more confidence and fulfillment fuels my deep passion for supporting others.
A few things that ground me: I’m a freediver and yoga lover, drawn to conscious breathing, both in and out of the water. Practices like breathwork, freediving, and mindful movement have taught me the power of presence, calm, and self-trust—qualities I bring into every coaching session. Whether I’m travelling, wakeboarding, in a CrossFit class, or just working—I’m always deepening my own resilience, learning about boundaries, and finding new ways to experience everyday joy.
Clients often share that my strengths are truly “seeing” people and making them feel safe, understood, and fully validated. I blend science-informed tools, mindfulness, and deep empathy, so you can gently reconnect to yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.
What does working with me look like? We focus on what’s actually heavy for you right now—whether that’s work pressure, tricky boundaries, or just running on empty. I support you in building resilience step by step in a way that fits your life. Each session leaves you with one or two clear, self-chosen actions, plus practical tools to calm racing thoughts, support sleep and energy, and create steadier habits around rest, focus, and saying “no". You will turn insight into changes that last beyond the session. My background in neuroscience, fast-paced environments, and mindfulness means you’re getting proven tools and realistic support—not fluff.
I support women and gender-diverse people who are capable, thoughtful, and often the ones who hold things together — but feel the impact of long-term stress and pressure. If you’re tired of one-size-fits-all “advice” and want support that meets you where you are, this is a space to slow down, reflect, and build resilience in a way that actually fits your life. Whether you’re looking for more balance, inner calm, more self-confidence, help with a life or career change—or just some steadier ground week to week—we’ll explore what helps you move forward without burning out or losing yourself. My practice is fully inclusive, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and available online in English or German.
What coaching is (and isn’t), and how to know if it’s right for you.
How coaching is different from therapy, mentoring, or advice
“Coach” is a widely used word today, and it can mean many different things. Some people who call themselves coaches act as advisors, mentors, or consultants — offering opinions, strategies, or solutions. This can be confusing for clients who are trying to understand what kind of support they actually need. Whereas therapy typically focuses more on healing the past and mentoring or advising is about providing answers or direction, coaching supports your own thinking and decision-making, and focuses on the present and future.
Professional coaching is a specific methodology practiced by trained coaches. The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
What coaching looks like in practice
In practice, coaching is not about being told what to do. It’s a space where you slow down, think out loud, and explore what’s actually true for you — beneath pressure, expectations, and “shoulds.” We work with what’s present in your life right now — for example, decisions, boundaries, or transitions — and support you in making choices that feel aligned and sustainable.
As a skilled professional coach, I recognize that we are all on our own journey, and that no one else can decide what is best for another. I partner and co-create with my clients, rather than choosing for them. This means I won’t tell you what’s right for you or push a single “best” path. Instead, I support you in consciously finding your own solutions — rather than letting inner blocks, external pressure, or other people’s expectations decide for you.
What you can expect from coaching
A coaching conversation is designed to leave you feeling more spacious, grounded, and connected to yourself — not pressured or sold to. Coaching doesn’t end when the session ends. Many clients notice insights continuing to unfold between sessions. Over time, this often shows up in everyday moments: in how they respond to pressure, relate to others, make choices that feel more sustainable, and develop a growing sense of trust in how you move through work and life
You won’t be fixed, pushed, or optimized. Instead, you’ll be met with curiosity, presence, and support as you find your own way forward.
When you want to reflect, feel met where you are, and listen more closely to yourself in order to find your own solutions — rather than receiving expert advice or ready-made answers — coaching is likely the right approach for you.
How we work together: your 3-step resilience process
Step 1: Steady the system – create breathing space
We begin with what’s weighing on you most right now—constant pressure, mental overload, blurred boundaries, or exhaustion. Together, we focus on reducing immediate stress and restoring a sense of steadiness, using practical tools you can apply in real life. The goal is not to fix everything at once, but to help you feel more grounded and back in control.
Step 2: Clarify what matters – regain direction
Once there’s more breathing room, we turn toward clarity. We explore what’s important to you beneath the pressure—your values, priorities, and what may be missing or misaligned in work or life. From there, we define realistic next steps that support you around better sleep, stronger boundaries, or meaningful change—without adding more to your plate.
Step 3: Build sustainable resilience – make it last
As things begin to shift, we focus on integration. We notice what’s working, adjust what isn’t, and support you in turning insight into habits that actually hold up in daily life. Progress doesn’t have to be dramatic—small, steady changes are often the most powerful. I’m here to help you keep moving forward, with support and accountability.
In their own words: what clients say
Experiences from people I’ve worked with

My coaching session with Annabelle was a game changer for an important meeting I was about to have. Annabelle asked me specific questions which helped to find within me the right state of mind for that stressful meeting. I arrived there in peace with myself and it went very well. Annabelle also gave me tools to stay grounded during this meeting, and I will be able to use these again in future stressful situations. Thank you so much Annabelle. You were very professional, and to the point.

I'm really grateful for Annabelle. After having a powerful session with her, she created a guided meditation for me which really blew my mind. The meditation was personalized to my journey, and it feels way different from everything I've listened to online.I'd absolutely love to continue working with her.

Annabelle creates a supportive and thoughtful space for honest reflection and meaningful conversation, and her guidance around time blocking helped me focus and make meaningful changes.

What drives my work (and where it’s heading)
A personal reflection on coaching, freediving, and embodied resilience

The experiences that shape my work extend beyond coaching sessions alone. Beyond formal training, my understanding of resilience is deeply shaped by lived experience. One of the most influential practices in my life is freediving.
Freediving is not something I bring into coaching sessions as a technique. Instead, it’s a personal practice that continues to teach me about calm under pressure, self-trust, and staying present in challenging environments. Holding my breath in open water has shown me (again and again) how much becomes possible when the nervous system feels safe, focused, and grounded.
These experiences influence how I think about resilience: not as pushing through, but as listening, regulating, and responding with awareness. They inform the way I hold space, pace conversations, and support people who live with ongoing pressure in their lives.
Looking ahead, my longer-term vision is to thoughtfully explore how coaching, embodied practices, and trauma-informed practices may come together — responsibly and within clear professional boundaries. This is a direction I’m moving toward over time, guided by both lived experience and formal training.
