A custom commission is an exciting venture!
Here are some things to consider before you begin:
What size artwork are you looking for?
What colors speak to you?
Where will your painting live once it's completed?
Would you like it framed? Or would you like it to hang on the wall with a hidden wire?
Do you have an inspiration for why you want this piece?
Did you see a previous painting of Laura's that you really enjoyed or sparked this idea?
Each of these answers to the questions above will lead me to create the perfect painting based on your aesthetic needs!
Now, about the logistics...
Once you submit the form on this page, I will provide you with a quote for the commission. The next step is discussing the commission a little more in depth, so I can get a greater feel for the project as a whole. We can connect via email, call, or video call-- whatever works best for you. After this discussion, I will send you the contract terms and an invoice for the initial 50% to get started. The remaining 50% will be invoiced upon completion of your painting, after your final approval and prior to shipping and delivery.
