Geoff Dubrow is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Nexus PFM Consulting, a firm dedicated to addressing global challenges like the debt crisis, climate change, and inequality through horizontal collaboration and holistic solutions.

Geoff brings specialized knowledge of parliament’s role in advancing gender budgeting, ensuring that women and marginalized populations are central to budgetary decision-making processes. Through his leadership at Nexus PFM Consulting, Geoff champions sustainable, accountable, and inclusive governance practices.

Ivan Okello

DEI Expert

Ivan is a dedicated anti-discrimination advocate and educator with a strong focus on Intercultural Competence, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Antiracism (EDIB/A). Over the past seven years, he has worked with organizations such as the New Brunswick Multicultural Council (NBMC), Mount Allison University, and Dalhousie University—experiences that have shaped his commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable communities.

His work centers on building bridges across diverse communities, removing systemic barriers to inclusion, and supporting organizations in creating environments where everyone can thrive. His expertise in intercultural understanding and social justice continues to drive his mission to advance equity and belonging in both institutional and community settings.

Maya Hutmann

Data, Research & Project Analyst

Maya Hutmann is a research, data, and project analyst at Nexus PFM Consulting Inc., specializing in Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) and Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus). She brings a strong academic background, having recently earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies with a minor in Film and Media Studies from Queen’s University, where she focused on Comparative Politics, Gender Politics, and Legislative Studies.

At Nexus, Maya contributes to the design and implementation of GRB and GBA Plus tools, assessments, and training programs that support more inclusive and equitable budgeting practices. Her work emphasizes strengthening parliamentary and civil society engagement in fiscal governance and advancing gender equality through public policy.
