Our mission: Photography Workshops for Foster Teens
Many foster teens in America lack access to programs that foster encouragement and growth. We provide photography workshops for foster teens in order to teach skills that can be used in a work environment, as well as encouragement needed to inspire, motivate and empower them to see themselves through artistic expression.
The Idea
You get a family portrait session
All of the proceeds go toward purchasing cameras for our upcoming workshop!
Details
- 20 minute mini session spot
- Sunday May 29
- Studio Two Three, Richmond VA
- $75 Donation
- You will receive a gallery with at least 5 images to download and the option to purchase photo prints. All proceeds from prints will also go toward workshop cameras.

The vision of Photo For Purpose is to teach photographic and storytelling principals and techniques to foster teens and those who otherwise would be limited to to the photography education they have access to. We desire to not only create a space for teens to learn photographic principals that can help them with certain occupations, but also to give them a voice through the art of photography.
